What is approximate value of complete, untouched 461X heads? I have a friend who owns 3 individual heads (a real pair and an extra) and would like to sell them. According to him, they've never been touched and have zero core shift. He's nice guy, and I'd like to see him get what he deserves for them.

I know if you find the right corvette guy it can be some money. As far as what I look for when I need x heads. I pay 500 pair in great condition guaranteed not to be cracked. You can get more if you are not in a hurry. If you find the person needing your date codes it can help bring more money. Be prepared to trot them around awhile for big money buyers.

Thank you for the response, James. In this case, the "friend who owns the heads" actually is a friend who owns the heads, not me. He obtained them over the years, probably back when they were the Holy Grail of 327 heads. I'll pass your estimate of their value along to him.
