carpet
In a station wagon is it mandatory behind the rear seat?

Re: carpet
Phil,
Did your model wagon come with it from the factory? I'm sure if any of them were built without it and it is finished off properly you'd be fine. Jeff Ross |

I have no clue the floor is painted blue like the side panels and back side of seats. I am sure randall raced this without carpet. I just want to be 100 percent when I get in tech. |
Re: carpet
Phil, my 80 Olds cutlass wagon has carpet in the rear cargo area.It is held in with snaps,if you need pics I can take some this weekend. Gary

Re: carpet
if it came from the factory with carpet, you have to have carpet. I think it states no bear metal.

Re: carpet
SUGGESTION---check with a carpet supplier/boat/auto upholstery shop look for "aircraft" type carpeting----real thin stuff ya can look thru it if you hold it up to the light & no backing on it either, it kinda looks like a real thin Scotchbrite pad---comes in several colors WEIGHS ALMOST nothing!!!! Put it on wtih Aerosol adhesive to keep it in place--- have it edged like normal ya can even put snaps on it so you can remove panels if you need to--- or go to someplace like Joanns fabrics get this material that looks like naugahyde and aerosol adhesive it down to the bare metal
