Indy side bet for 2000 and older RWD cars only A-L Stock

Hey Indy Racers! I had another request that is fun, and performance based.

Here is the deal.

The highest qualifying RWD 2000 model year and older Stocker in classes A through L and A/SA through L/SA will each get a prize. Must be a car, not a truck.

The prize will be a 100 Visa gift card and a custom plaque with their car on it made by John Gray.

I will present these at the A Stick A/SA Challenge awards party Friday night at Teuton's Race Pit/ Party.

Now, kind of different in that the person kicking in wants no recognition. No problem with me! I think any positive recognition is cool and I am happy to help.

Now, anyone venture any guesses as who they will be?

Not sure on automatics, but I am going to pulling for my old buddy Lou Conkey in his L Stick Camaro for the stick honors!

I understand why they don't want to go all the way to Q or R for a reason, but why stop at L rear wheel drive cars?

Hey now, this is just one request! There is no limit! Anyone can pony up for their favorite!

Paul, what are you racing at Indy? Stick Truck? Look forward to seeing you at Indy!

Well Jim, Save your bet... Thanks for you vote of confidence, but I will not be at Indy or any National Events until they change the Combo Race. Will miss the fun at Indy. Will see U at the Columbus SportsNationals in September.

Great gesture by the person who is paying for these awards. I personally think that the group of cars that this represents needs an award like this. They makeup over 1/2 of the field.

John Gray has made plaques for ASRA for years and his work is excellent.

Jim. it is unfortunate that some must take this opportunity to say something negative, as you said, they can pony up and have another award

Most important,,,, a big thank you to you Jim , for all you are and have done over the years

The same thanks to the unnamed sponsor of this award, and also John for making the plaques.

We will have to talk at Indy. I spent quite a bit of time there for work. Nice town!
