Mopar Show in Farmington, MN

I went to the Mopar Show over the weekend and it was a very impressive event. The had about 10 Sox and Martin cars, 2 Don Grotheer, I Judy Lilly and 1 Herb McCandless and many more old race cars. They had Arlen Vanke, Judy Lilly, Buddy Martin, Don Grotheer, Diane Sox and others signing autographs and answering questions.

I do not know the amount of show cars displayed, but it was an excellent well run event. Daryl ( Lite Weight ) had his hemi dart there and a high light was when he fired it up and gave Don Grotheer a ride around the grounds. The people responsible for the event and the participants should be proud of the event.

I am a Chevy guy, but I sure appreciate an event of that quality only 300 miles away.

Thanks for the report! Did Daryl get to put his Dart on a dyno?

I was only able to be there for about 4 hours on Saturday and I am not aware either way if he got up on the drum. The dyno was there and running.

Just visited with a good friend that was at the show. He said Diane Sox gave him a kiss on his cheek, his plan is not shave or wash that spot for a month!

Great to spend some time with you, albeit kinda short, sure enjoyed it. I took Grotheer for more than a ride around the fairgrounds. I was able to desticker the new rear tires on some local highway. When we returned, Don had a perma smile & asked if I am installing a head restraint on the passenger side roll bar for the next victum. Ya, I'm kinda liking the power this new elfunt is making.
I didn't put it on the chassis dyno, due to #2 plug looking a little lean. Did alot of rework on the carbs over the winter, so I gotta get in there & find what's up.

I had a camera, but just too busy talking with people. It never made it out of the glovebox. My buddy Dave took this shot of Don Grotheer in the shotgun seat while the elfunt was getting some heat prior to a "test drive"
