fuel pump and regulator

Racers, I need to update a fuel system. Let me hear about what pump and regulator y'all are having good service with. Tell me about your regulator and plumbing.

About 700 horse SBC running 6.10 1/8 mile @ 112 MPH

go with either Aeromotive or Magnafuel-stay away from Mallory/Holley/Barry Grant too many problems-- Both are equally good use their regs and pumps call the tech line tell em what you have and what you want to do they will give ya a no BS recommendation--- ya got ??? ask em they will be right upfront like I said no BS from either company--personally we use all Aeromotive got it from a guy cleaning out his excess parts but the last car had magnafuel stuff-- no regrets or problems with either

WATCH THE AMPERAGE draw on whatever pump you use!!!! They will draw down a battery quick and cause other problems too (ignition etc.)

Aeromotive A2000 pump, and Aeromotive A4 dead head regulator, installed as recommened by Aeromotive. The only issue I have is after sitting for the winter I will get a bit of seeping from the pump for the first 2 or 3 uses but after that the seals reseat and all is good, been doing that for 5 years now

Aeromotive is what we use. as for the seeping spray some wd-40 into pump for lube after sitting awhile. The tech people at Aeromotive will tell u what u need and they pay contingency.

My brother and I are going through the new fuel pump upgrade right now. We are going to use an Aeromotive A1000 Pump and an Aeromotive Regulator 13204 with the return line to the fuel tank. I believe that the A1000 pump is good for over 1000 horsepower on a carbureted motor. This was recommended by Aeromotive if you want to use a return line which they claim is a better system than dead-heading.
