Disc brakes for HEAVY 74 nova?

What disc brakes for a heavy nova (3500lbs or so) are you guys using??? Everyone I have looked at says they are for 3,000 or under?? My car isnt a 130mph car I think I would be fine with the heavy duty strange/wilwood brakes.. I see alot of bad posts about aerospace brakes... so I guess I am shying away from those ...

I will probably go disc on front and leave the drums on rear for a year.. What master cylinder mopar type?

I put the Wilwood disc on all four corners of my 67 Firebird stocker, that was all drum from factory, about 3 years ago. I also used the Wilwood mastercylinder. Master cost a little more than some OE options from parts stores, but looks good and works good.
Depending on class, 3200-3450 lbs. 120 mph. I have not put that many runs on it, but I am very happy with the brake feel and performance. NO issues at all.
You might also want to look at the brake kit that Moser has out? They sold Wilwood until they started their own line.
Good luck.

Wilwood on my Demon for longer than I can remember. In F it is
almost 3500 and have never had a issue once the install was right.

Aerospace and forget it. Zero, I mean zero problems. We have them on all 3 stockers. 33-3500 lbs. changes the pads once in 10 seasons. I was told Gary Jennings uses 2 kinds of brakes on the cars he builds, Lamb if money isn't a problem, and Aerospace if your on a budget. They have worked for me for years, and I wouldn't have anything else.
