GT 302 info
I have a friend with a 66 merc Caliente that wants to run super stock, I'm thinking the GT 68 merc 302 four barrel is the way to go. What carb is legal with this combo?

Re: GT 302 info
Mercury 302 used a little Holley. 1.563 throttle bores, 1.250 primary venturi, 1.313 secondary venturi. Like a "600 Holley" or a model 1850. The factory id was C8OF-D for stick, C8ZF-B for an automatic according to the NHRA tech info. The same engine in a Mustang used an Autolite/Motorcraft model 4300 carb.

Talk to Quick Fuel. If they don't have it, they may make it and put it in their catalog.

We happen to have a J code 302 Holley that is race ready sitting on the shelf. I just cant say for sure if Dad would want to part ways with it. Its just that good of a carb.
