Are they still legal?? tech man when I raced st. louis this year told me I was going to have to change it. Anyone know for sure?

I've had one for 10 years on my stocker. Never had any tech people question it in N.H.R.A. or I.H.R.A.
As long as it's charging the battery it's legal according to the rulebook.
Now, as with alot of things that is subject to change at anytime.
