Can I be directed towards a machine shop in so cal that understands the ins and outs for stock. I m having to move there for a while.

I definitely recommend Gregg Luneack at Tri City. This man knows how a stocker moter should be done, runs both Stock and Super Stock cars, and gets stuff done for you when he says he will. Can't beat that. What part of So Cal are you settling into?

Gregg is hands down the Best Stock/SS shop in our opinion!
He has a wealth of knowledge and is very approachable
and responsible for much of my son's success in Stock!
