"Live" from Piedmont Dragway combo race
 

Just read on Carolina Class Racers Association's thread down below that the race for this afternoon has been cancelled because of the chance for storms this evening. Since we are almost there, does anyone have any suggestions for things to do that you can get to in a motorhome pulling a trailer?? We were hoping to meet some of you Carolina racers, but I don't guess it is in the cards! Maybe another time--

There was a combo scheduled for the Dunn Benson drag strip today also. Might want to check and see if it is still on. It is about an hour and half from you.

just called Dunn Benson. No answer. Website shows test and tune only today.

Piedmont race track looks "Great". It has lots of pavement, lined parking spots, plenty of trash cans, a family seating section that does not allow adult bevrages, plenty of staging, the grass is well manicured, all in all everything looks first class!

Larry and Patsy, I really hate we didn't have the opportunity to meet and race w/ you all this weekend! I plan on being at Charlotte next weekend and hopefully we'll get to visit then.

Larry, I'm sorry I did not see your post earlier. There are so many track in NC to run at that maybe you could have found one that was not rained out. Z-max was running on Friday and Saturday, but according to their schedule they were not racing on the week-ends in Sept. Farmington and Mooresville are also right near Z-Max. Piedmont is a nice facilty. Maybe see you at Z-max next week-end.
