69 model 302 ford parts???
I am needing some parts for my stocker build. C8AE-B intake manifold, C8OE-J or C9OE-E cylinder heads. Does NHRA have an approved aluminum head for the 302 motor?

Canfield # 18350, AFR # 1399/165, Edelbrock 60217 heads allowed in Super Stock only....Why NHRA accepted these in the first place is beyond me, However..... The 68 -69 302 2 BBL. stuff you are looking for should be locally available, if not check craigslist frequently. Around here, there is always a scrapper looking to make a few Xtra $$$ by advertising old V8 parts. Hope this helps, |

Sorry. Didn't see that was for SS only. I was thinking the Edelbrocks were legal for both.

are you doing a 1969 2 barrel stocker NHRA factored 210HP? I believe that takes the 1.08 carb 287 cfm. i have been runing that same carb on my on my 1972 Q/SA 302 comet for 5 years NHRA factored 162HP. It runs 2 to 3 under in good air. I looked at that combo before i did my comet and decided it was not favorable unless HP is reduced. brian
