Re: chevy 2 radiator
Radiators are not steel.
They're either aluminum or copper/brass in most cases. It would help to know what class you're running. |
Re: chevy 2 radiator
I run a 66 chevy 2 in stock. I have aluminum in it I know it wont fly. sorry I did forget to put what I was running.:D

Re: chevy 2 radiator
You'll need a copper/brass radiator that fits the car correctly.

Re: chevy 2 radiator
The good news is that they are easy to get. The tanks are top and bottom. If you need some measurements, let me know.

Re: chevy 2 radiator
The 66 Impala radiator will work in a 66 Nova. I think I had to redrill two of the holes. The one in my car is from a 65 Impala.

Re: chevy 2 radiator
We got a 66 impala settin for 20 years. the rad still has antifreeze in it. The tanks are on top and bottom. I found one that bolts up the same way but the tanks are on the side. I am gonna try and buy a new one tomorrow I guess. What should I try and buy a new one for?? the chevy 2 or something else?

Re: chevy 2 radiator
What Joe said on the rad. We replaced our battery tray witha new one years back, but I don't see a problem strngtheningnyours to get by. We used thresded rod and square alum tubing from the hardware store to hold the battery down.
