Does your SRAC representative keep you informed of what is going on with the NHRA? Just wondering. Mike Crutchfield sends D2 people an email when things happen or to ask your opinion on different subjects. Jim

Actually,the email idea is a good one.

About the only source of information anymore is from Facebook.(Don't know if fact or fiction)

Found this little tidbit on Facebook the other day:


Something big is coming up next year for all of us Stock Eliminator's! A request to the NHRA rules committee on aftermarket crankshafts was heard and approved today.

442OLDS, go to the SSSSA Forum and see the thread where I inserted the last email from Mike. He told us all about it. He also emailed us prior to the decision for input. He also talks about the Stock seat request. Jim

If you mean like - "NHRA is considering doing away with the divisional race format as it exists today" - the answers is a definite - NO

So I am left to contemplate the valididty and relaibility of the source of the rumor
