SW FL machine shop recommendations?
 

Looking for any recommrndations for machine shops in the sw florida area for a short block build. Looking for someone who understands "stockers", I'm not having any luck locally. Thanks

Kevin their are plenty of good machine shops around the country , but very few understand NHRA stock eliminator. My advice to you would be use BES machine in MO. He does plenty of fast stocker engines and would be worth a call. 812-576-2371

Mike Thompson Racing Engines in Naples Fl 239-643-6009. Mike is an old super stock racer. He does all of my machine work. Works on every engine like its his own. He races top sportsman in div 2 N & IHRA. Give him a call.

There are a lot of excellent shops in SW Florida , and Mike Thompson is one of the best .

Kevin, I would give Dave Hartman at Heartbeat Racing Engines a call. He is in Mt. Dora Fl, just north of Orlando. I assume this is not to close but be is a good guy who builds a couple Stocker/Super Stocker engines and ALLOT of T/S and T/D engines. He is a great guy very easy to talk to and from what we have experienced very sharp.

I'm sure all the shops mentioned are very good. When and if you get a heads up run, you owe it to yourself to go with someone who makes proven HORSEPOWER!!! ( BES)
