powerglide question

On a powerglide, which fluid outlet, top or bottom, would go into a filter\transcooler ? The filter has a in and out on it. Thanks

Re: powerglide question

But, can both be plugged?

I know this can't be done with a T350, as there must be a loop connecting the two ports to keep the path of fluid open.

However, I've aquired a race prepared powerglide and both ports are plugged. Is this OK?

Bob, both the PG and the T350 have a cooler bypass valve .It is there for extreme cold climates, where the fluid can't be forced through the radiator cooler without putting strain on the pump .
Remove the bypass ball and spring assy., plug the holes, and you will loop the fluid internally.
