Old Chevy Junior Stocker
 

Does anyone here remember this old junior stocker '56 Chevy sedan delivery...it seems like it's not a bad price if somneone wants to tackle this restoration, or do you think it's worth saving.

I can't speak to the green sedan delivery, but I can to the red one on the other side. It was my dad's sedan delivery and this photo was taken at Suffolk, Va during the fall race in 1969? (I believe). I have a pic of the dad's sedan delivery in my photos from Suffock race with the same M/SA - 51. Bob Rice has a few pics of it as well. FUN times growing up.

Since the NHRA has now reinstated the 283 57 Chevy again for Stock after all these years does anyone have any idea or would share who a current state of the art Piston manufacturer/ ring manufacturer might be for the 283's I know the TRW's in my garage sure won't make the grade. Thank you.
