Best place and price for new slicks

Looking for some new slicks, and where do you guys get yours? Need one pair possibly 2 sets. Looking at Hoosier radials but open to others depending on feedback of the slicks

Thanks,

Rick

I get my Hoosiers from Jegs. Best prices I've found and they have enough inventory turn-over that I always feel that I am getting fresh rubber. Not tires that have been sitting on a shelve somewhere for a couple of years.

McCormack racing has good prices and the shipping is free.

You guys are spoiled. I just snagged a pair of brand new slicks for my car. Off of Ebay. As far as laying around goes. They haven't made them for 5 years. So they were laying somewhere for a long time. But I was happy to get them (well pay for them, I won't get them till later in the week. I HOPE?)

If you're wondering about when your tires were manufactured, there is a date code that shows up on the side wall. I was doing a little reading about this, since it's now become a consumer hot topic in the automotive world, and realized one of my sets of wheels had an old set of slicks that were manufactured just as Ronald Reagan was leaving his second term in office

here's a link to were to look

Larry Hodge will probably have the best price and he knows what tire you need.. I would't consider anyone else.
