I've used it in a pinch. When you put it in you have to drive the car around to spread it out otherwise it just becomes a lump in the bottom. OBTW, it's flammable and it expands with heat. Watch your tire pressures.

Use dish washing soap. With tire off the rim smear the side walls up good, mount them up wash them off with water then let them sit in the sun for a while, done it for years Tom

I works good, the best method is before mounting the tire wipe it down inside like you would with soap. Let it sit a few mins and continue working the excess around the tire. Finally wipe out any excess that continues to puddle up. Now mount and seat and air as usual

It will 99% cure leaking through the sidewalls.

Works perfect. I took a shop towel and a bottle of dawn to Goodyear on the first day of a race when I bought new tires. Just squirt it in the tire and smear it around before they mount them. I had a lot of people ask me what I was doing. Never had a tire leak down.

I put another set of tires on my car in Houston. One has a bad leak that I can;t get to stop. It's right where the tire meets the rim on the sidewall. The goodyear guy went out of his way to mount and remount the tire 4 times. Still has a leak. He said the tire was good and my rim has no problems. I didn't put any soap on it!! LOL If I get it dismounted again do you think that might help my problem. I have time my engine is a short block. Thanks.
