Current Pin Choice?

Small block Chevy 305 to be built for GT. Is a Titanium pin the better idea or current idea? I have heard some question on reliabiltiy.
Thanks Dick Butler

I'll second what Wade said, call Trend. I don't think titanium is worth the risk and expense in a class car, with the possible exception of maybe some Comp classes. They now have really light really stiff tool steel pins, and combined with current piston design, they work really well.

What are the concerns with using a titanium pin? I'm thinking of using them in a SS/modified engine.
