60' times

I,ve never raced a heavy car as i have now. Its 4250# with a 400sb 2bbl.stock, headers locker that had a 3.90 gear,29.5 65 drs.2500 converter.th400.I only got about 20 passes on the car towards the end of the season. I had consistent 1.85 60'. i'm going 454 spool 4.56 9x30 radial slcks next near. I was just wondering if my 60' were fair? good? great? All passes were done at NTR columbus,oh. thanks for any input Dave

I'd say pretty good for weighing over 2 tons, having no power, no gear and no converter.

The new combo needs a different converter and be advised the radial slicks won't work well on a nose heavy car that doersn't work nor on a junk track.

Here's 3880 lbs. with a cast iron oval port headed 468 under the hood backed by a turbo400, 8" converter, 4.10 and 30 x 10.5" radial slicks whose best 60 foot was 1.28 and ET 10.07
