Gateway gets date for 2012
 
According to the St Louis Post Dispatch, a local land developer and sports car racer has stepped up to re-open Gateway International. Not only did he manage to land a date for next year, but it's during the Countdown and in cool weather.

I only ran there once but liked it a great deal...really hope this comes to pass.

I know they didn't have a points race for the few years before it shut down, but I wonder if they will have one now.

Actually, I think Kevin went to a couple of LODRS races there, I know I missed one when I was recovering from neck surgery. We raced there several times. They ,may not have had one the last year or two, but they did have them before then.
