This Camaro was 1 of 30 #9651 L72 COPO Camaro's sold at Scuncio Chev.
Sold by Scuncio's Hi-Perf Mgr Bob Johnson in '69 and documented by Bob in 2009. Bob was also responsible for their drag racing program
Original Rallye Green, 4 speed and radio delete
Raced from 1969 to 2009 it is still backhalved, with 4 link, coilovers, narrowed Dana with 4:10 gears and 4 wdb. Always garaged-no rust ever
Now a street car with correct 427 block, heads, intake & carb. Has 700R built for 700hp and Hoosier 15X16.5 with painted steel wheels

btw, there are a couple pix of it (from 1970) lettered as 'Rat Patrol', in the gen discussion forum, in the COPO Chevelle thread.
In the 90's it was raced throughout the NE, Ohio & Canada by Tom Daugherty & Tony Pennini. Mid 10 sec car
2009 ran 9.3 @ 145 @ Raceway Park
