Head porting
 

Im not looking to get any secrets from anybody (like I could anyways) but Im playin with some ideas and wanted to ask some of those that actually run in SuperStock, what is allowed for port work in said ranks? Is it an "anything goes" deal or do you need to retain a certin CC in the runners? I read in some places that a person can port, polish, epoxy, weld, blah, blah, blah but then read in another place that runners must be able to hold the correct CC'c for casting # and HP claimed. Am I crossing Stk and SS rules here? Thanks ~ Phil

has to have correct port volumes listed for that head casting.

Check with some of the really fast older (non DP's and Fords) stockers about who does their work......LOL.
