Congrats to Brian Rowe & Mike Longhaney
Congratulations to Brian Rowe for winning the second CCRA race of the year!!! Mike Longhaney did a great job of making it to the finals as well!! It was a great day for racing and the car count showed it. We had 34 cars make the first round call!!! Thanks to everyone that came out and supported the CCRA!!! And thanks to Fayetteville Motorsports Park and Alfonza Currie for hosting us and kicking in some extra cash for the purse!!!

Re: Congrats to Brian Rowe & Mike Longhaney
Thank you for all the Thanks but it's the racers wanting to race that makes it all possible. We had a great payout with $1700.00 going to the winner and runner up received $800.00 and paid back 9 places. Alfonza and Fayetteville Motorsports Park kicked in some extra cash to be able to pay back that far. All of this for a $75.00 entry fee. We need all the support and members as possible.
Thanks Scott Tilley |

thanks a lot. It looks like junk next to Mike's car. I used to drive that thing on the street for ever. We raced heads up drag radial stuff with it, found out heads up racing is not for me. Sold the big motor, put a cheap bracket motor in that fit the SS class we run. I cant make it through the 1/4. I ran a 10.62@103 lifting. So we will not be able to make it to any of the 1/4 mile stuff. Gotta get used to stagging with the trans break again. Im so used to the Stocker nipping in, I found my self pre-stagging, stagging, then hitting the break and the car would rock forward. Kept going .490 red all day long. So I need to get a few more practing laps in before Piedmont! |
