i am hesitant to post this here, but you guys are smart, and hopefully someone will answer.
i just had my '67 Chevy truck front end done. the toe-in came out [computer print-out] as degrees. can some one tell me what .38 degrees [total] is in AMERICAN inches.

thanks so much

On our Bear machine .3 degrees is equal to 1/8".

Re: alignment?

thanks tom. i did some calculations and i figure .38 degrees is closer to 5/32". way to much, especially with brand new parts which don't need to be 'pushed' to take out the worm slop.

Re: alignment?

I understand that .3 degrees would be from parallel on the tires, but when it is given in " as in 1/8" how far forward and behind from the centerline of the spindle is the 1/8" refering to. The farther forward the 1/8" is the fewer degrees it would be. Is there a standard?
