Who has experience with Small Mopar engines ?

I'm curious as to has experience with small cubic inch, small block Mopar engines, like a W2 headed engine , around 315 cubic inches ? I know Marlin Bogner does, and he is an exceptional gentleman to talk to, but is anyone else familiar with them or is anyone else even running them ? Its suprising to me, because the W2 is such a good head for SS/CS . Just curious, and thinking out loud. Thanks

It might help if you specified how far from home (where is that?) you
are willing to travel to get to a good mopar engine builder? Across
the country, in the same state, within a 500 mile radius?

I know Don Little and Steve Wann out in the Modesto/Westly area
of California both have many years of success building both small and
big block mopars, but if you are on the east coast that might make
a difference.

Thanks for the help, but I aint gonna travel anywhere to get one....LOL....were gonna build it ourself. I work at an engine shop. Its just not something we've ever fooled with. I'm curious about a small cubic inch ( 315 or so ) W2 engine as in like a SS/CS engine. Thanks for any and all help.

I have an old set of the Glidden/Diamond W2's that I would sell if you're interested. Have the good Norris rockers/shafts and flow #'s as well. Probably one of the few sets left, had thought I'd build a stroker to use them on but currently running a stocker and probably won't get back to using W2's.

Just a thought....

In the northeast you can try Ryan or Dave @ Shady Dell speed shop in Port Matilda, Pa. Specialists in all small block chrysler heads. Excellent web site-great reading.

I spoke with Scott once when Ronnie Sox and I went to Budds Creek. Scott had a Duster with a W8 engine and was flying ! He was a real nice guy.
