HP rating for 96 S-10
 

Can someone with an IHRA guide give the HP rating for 96 Chevy S-10 4.3 V6 combo. I am interested in running some IHRA next year want to make sure it's listed. Thanks

As of 5/7/10, IHRA has the 1996 262 engine rated at 180, up 10 from 170. Are you racing it as a Pure Stock or a trad. Stocker? I am assuming that rating is for a trad. Stocker, not a Pure Stocker. Of course I have been known to be wrong more than once in my life. Lol.

It is a trad. stocker. NHRA it is rated 188 stick 187 auto. The hp change took it to a home class O/S combo. At 180 it should still be able to go down to H/TS. That is what I needed. Thanks Rick
