I am running a 67' 440 GTX, with a 9755 carb. What is the best way to eliminate the metering rods--I hear that some are using Holley jets??
Where do I start?
Is there anything else needed besides changing the jets?

Any help would be great, its winter time and we all have plenty of down time!

Danny Ashley did my Quadrajet on my truck....but to my knowledge he doesn't work on Thermoquads or AFB carbs. The reason we sometimes remove rods on Thermo's is : 1 Lack of different jet available 2 Easy of assembly of top of carb to body. Neither applys to your carb. I know several that have used SS/JA racer Don O'Malley for their AFB. Picked them up significantly. I had Don build me a pair of Autolites but they are still in the box waiting for the engine.
Pricing is what the rate is on the other builders.
