lifters
 
Has anybody used howards max effort hydraulic lifters with a stocker cam.If so how did they work.

I was curious about those lifters as well. I bought the Comp Cams "low travel" lifters and after 8 pulls on the dyno and not enough valve spring pressure they broke....thank god when I was pulling them out of the engine to replace with another set. Comp Cams said they cant help me because I didnt have enough VS pressure. Apparently the combo of VS pressure and hydraulic lifters is a black art.

how much presure did you caculate to have seat and open ??? gmonde
