How many axles should a 32' tag have?
Found a decent deal on a 2 yr old Vintage 32' tag trailer. It has 6k axles. But, it is only a 2 axle trailer. Is that enough axle or should it be a triple axle?

If you dont have a lot of stuff it might be OK but why have a 32 ft trailer if you cant put anything in it but the car. If it's really a good deal you could always put a couple of 8K axles and some 17.5 G tires under it. It would be good then and have great brakes. A triple is not really necessary as long as the axles and tires can carry the weight and stop it. TT

Re: How many axles should a 32' tag have?
A few years ago I had a 30' Vintage dual axle. Towed a 3500# car with some tools, fuel, gen. etc. Had numerous tire/wheel bearing issues. Might work with a lighter car (dragster, comp. car etc.). I now have a 30' Classic triple axle. I like it for the extra braking as well as the extra load bearing capacity, and is more stable on secondary roads.

Thanks! I will hold out for a triple axle trailer.
