Florida travel question
Going to Florida in a dually with a 48 ft enclosed trailer.
What problems may I run into? I will be traveling I-95 |

No problem unless over 65' TOTAL length or over weight for you NC tag. If over 65', you can get a one year over length permit for $20. It took me less than a week to get one.

I,m 62 ft and have 20,000 tags. With 1 car I'm o.k. 2 cars I'm over a titch.

Biggest Aligator caught this year was 14 ft 2in. In Florida ! not LA

Chip, I would change the weight on the tag. Just make sure it doesn't exceed the total gvw of the truck and trailer. Weight cops really frown on that. Another 4 or 5 k on the NC tag will not be much $. Good luck.......driving and racing.
