Re: cam timing question

Depends on what you have to work with I use the multi key way crank gear on my motor , really not much choice for me. Can usally get within degree or less of where I want it. Joe

Re: cam timing question

Joe' when i bought my little motor those nascar guys offset ground a dowel pin and had a 108 cam center line cam at 98 center line with max on the crank and alot on the cam.i gues that is the only way to do it on the ford v-6.

Re: cam timing question

how much do you have to move it?

Re: cam timing question

Don't like the offset pins it weakens them. I've got a couple crk. gears with 8 keyways so can move it alot. I've double pinned cam gear, lots of valve spring pressure makes it a requirement. Joe
