New rules will save us all

Thank god for the new 2011 rule changes.
Stock and SS are now saved with the addition of VX, AA/? ,1955 Chevy’s in stock and wagon's in GT. Good job NHRA. These were all the big issues over the past few months.
Now I can get to work on the 454 motor in the good old wagon for GT/AA.

Don't forget the anteater rule. Hood scoop openings in SS/Modified Stock can now be 11 inches tall instead of 5 inches. Everyone saw that one coming after an anteater won S/S at Indy. That was one ugly hood scoop but it met the rules...so they say.

New DART BIg M block for my 427. YES!!! On the outside it looks right, but inside lurks the 565 plus cu inches:)

No I can resell my old Mark IV stuff and don't have to buy the overpriced Bowtie stuff

Well, despite the fact that some will build a nostalgia car from the 55 -57 cars, does it do anything to correct the PROBLEMS of Stock eliminator? Any new supercharged classes? any change to SS? any Major factoring announced yet?
It will be interesting to see what an upgraded 55-7 car will run with new "legal" stocker modifications. That part was over due anyway.

It didn't really though Don. The rule also says scoops need to be painted to match the hood and the anteater part was bare aluminum.
