NHRA has finally named the new DD for us here in Div 2.

Let's hear the opinions of any of you all that know him or anything about him, good, bad or indifferent. I have no idea who he is.

Wish I could give one...I don't get that far West to race and so have never met him.

I do know they had quite a few high-quality candidates and were lucky to have such a talent pool.

I don't know what his personal background as a racer is...if it's nada, that would trouble me. I think DDs should have a racing background, but do their job without letting the racers walk over them (the batters don't get to call balls and strikes).
