Launch RPM and Tire Pressuret
This is a question for S/G racers. Do you feel that a door car will hit the tree better with higher launch rpm and less air in tire, say 6000 leave with 7.5 psi vs a 4000 rpm leave with 9 psi. The school of thought on lower rpm is that the car will dead hook and pop the front out of the beams. I have been attemtping to get the cart to go red on a .370 and after yrs of no problems with the .5 tree I am experiencing some growing pains trying to hit the .370.
Among other issues that affect launch, I am zeroing in on tire pressure and rpm. |
