Re: Can I get a reliable TS ratio using this method?
The reason people don't like the climbing RPM while on the stop is because the rate of climb is dependent on HP (read: the weather). The idea is to limit the number of variables in the equation. But the more I've been working with analysis of data, the more I'm convinced this is mostly just a superstition, not a real issue. I feel that a well developed factor should take this into account like all other weather related changes.
In short, I think you'll be fine. |

Keep the shut off timer at 1 sec at all times and you'll get a ratio.
Just be ready to shift when your 300 shot comes on. I would think that would be the trickiest part of your setup. If you had your shifter timed to kick at 1.25, you would be golden. cool idea though, should work otherwise -steve |

Edited the wrong post. Anyway, thanks. I will give it a test and let you know how I do. |
