Chris , I have a Powermaster XS 16v and charger. I have been very happy with them. Ive had Turbostarts and a V battery. TS doesnt seem to have the reserve the XS has , but V is a stronger battery, but heavy as hell. 54 lbs. Unless you wanna really get off the hip for the ultra LW models but they are VERY PRICEY!

ROCK 16v.
I use them in my 10.90 car with no alternator. Had one in my dragster too.
Mine ar 2 years old and I recently won a 5 grand bracket race double entered I also got semis. We made 7 passes in less than 45 minutes never going back to the trailer.

Thanks I went with the XS as you guys suggested. the 48lb one instead of the 2 30lb ones I was going to run.

It works great.....spins the car over so fast I think if it was a stick I could at least qualify on the starter :) AND I was able to almost HALF my Coil dwell.....and still run the same.

Awesome setup, I went with an East Coast alternator and Im singin happy.

Solved the problems I hoped it would.

Thanks guys.

I thought the 16 volt side was just for the ignition spark! Be careful Chris.....I really hope you are just kidding...lol...

When you do get it in correctly try these spark plugs and tell me if they worked for you...?

Oh...PS...The higher voltage will charge through the resistor to the capacitor to the transistor faster so, your makeshift delay box won't be as much of a delay anymore. ;-) jk....I wonder If NHRA has the tech ability to check for such a micro toy in the footpedal mounted switch...
Call me for pricing...hehe.. ;)

Just dont let a 16v battery get below 10 volts, like as in forgeting the master cutoff, or you wil be buying another.....
