Childs & Albert Rod Torque Help

Bought a 331 SB Chevy with Childs & Albert 100 Rods, 7/16 Bolts with Childs Albert on end of the bolts, Look like ARP. Rod has 327-06 on side in black ink. Any help would be appreciated. This motor is from the early 80's. Thanks Jackie

Replace them as you do not know how many times they have been torqued and you do not have a blueprint sheet that shows original vs. stretched length.
It can get really expensive if a bolt lets go...

Jeff is correct. Get the dimensions and either look it up in the ARP catalog, or call the 800 number for ARP, they'll probably have a good replacement bolt. Put the new bolts in and have the rods checked for size and roundness, and resized if necessary. Otherwise, just get yourself a new set of rods.
