Front suspension advice

On those rare days when the air and track are really good, my car pulls the wheels higher and longer than normal. When it sets them back down, the front suspension compresses down too much. Not enough to hit the headers or pan, but more than I would like it to. It might be time for some dbl. adj. shocks, but I would like some advice.BB 69 Camaro, set up like a stocker- Moroso springs, Del-a lum (?) bushings,Calvert shocks, etc. Very heavy up front- iron heads, factory 4-core rad, all the factory stuff still in place. Thanks for any help.

I had the same problem with KONI shocks, now using www.santhuffshocks.com up front, nice and smooth once again. You might also check out AFCO, Varishock.

Dana- If you have a single adjustable shock now, you could try tightening them slightly on those "killer air" days to cut the wheelstand down a bit. I know AFCO has some double adjustable "Eliminator" shocks with "BNC" valving that eliminates bounce after a wheelstand.

Don't know if your stock or super stock, but if super stock install travel stops in upper control arms. Shut down some travel a little on those days when air or bite is very good.
