First off, I guess I am the new kid on the block. This is my first season running IHRA Stock. My name is CJ Perry. I drive the blue Sloan Racing Engines Camaro. Tim is my uncle. My first race was this past weekend at Rockingham. Deff. had a blast with driving the car. I have been running my personal car in Pro Tree Elim, 6.0 Index, and some 1/4 pro tree bracket classes...I though I could jump in this car and kill the long tree like I do a pro-tree...Boy was I wrong. My hats off to you guys! I gained ALOT of knowledge this past weekend and cant wait for Piedmont! I met a few really cool racers this past weekend.

yea I know what you mean. I fee pretty confident in myself with Tim, Hillary, and my dad in my corner. They all 3 have been there and done it...Practice makes perfect!! I plan on going to as many races and my money (and wife:p) will let me....

CJ, You done good buddy. We both have a LOT of learning to do but I'm confident we'll get there. It was such a pleasure talking with you after that first round and look forward to telling our "war" stories over and over together through the years.

Those pictures were from both mine and CJ's first ever round in IHRA Stock eliminator so one of us were bound to win! I was lucky enough to come out on top this time. I just hope the next time we face each other it is in the Final!

it gives me alot of confidence to here you guys say that! I am still a youngin just starting out...I'm really lucky to have the support from my Uncle for giving me the chance to drive for the family.....And also gotta say to my dad as well....without him helping a little with the $$ part, I wouldn't be able to do it! hard work pays off! hahaha, man I can go on for days about some of the things I have done! I am sure we will catch up at the Piedmont race! Do yall plan on making it to the Spring Nationals @ Rockingham? I think I will be going down for the whole weekend this time!

CJ, hate i didnt get a chance to meet you this weekend me and dad got bit by some kind of bug friday night and i was in and out of the car sat. between rounds and sleeping and getting sick......im sure ill get a chance to holler at you later stay in it us younguns need to keep it real...PS dont listen to anything Terry Taylor tells you lol....jp Terry ;).......Congrats Corey on the RU
