Somtimes I do stupid things
 

Road trip to New Jersey to pick up trailer, knowing there was a storm moving in. Well in my best estimates I figure, hey roll in early hook up and go to beat the storm right? WRONG, pulled off the PA turnpike after an hour of not being able to see the road. Fortunately even stupid people catch a break as there was a Hess gas station half a mile up the road with a large parking lot. Soooo I guess we're trying out the living quarters a bit sooner than I had figured, lucky for me my other half tends to over pack as we had most everything we really needed.Good thing too as the snow in the parking lot is up to my knees, my poor dog disappears in it trying to do his business. Well I guess a day and a half living in the Hess parking lot is just what I get for trying to out run Mother Nature.Blizzard Joe Just check local snowfall for Manheim Pa which is where we are...22 inches, hey I said is was deep.

80 would have been better, I'm in Nanticoke, PA just north of 80 and we got a 1/2 inch which was all gone by afternoon. My neighbors were outside playing horseshoes and barbecuing all day, it gave me spring fever.

Well finally got moving early sunday morning, roads were pretty good for the most part. Thank god we had heat and food. We borrowed a shovel from the gas station and dug a path for the dog to do his thing, plus shoveled ourselves out, man what a trip! Now I've got to hope for good weather the end of Feb. as we're off to Bike week in Daytona. Joe
