deactivate a 2-step?
Ok I know this has been covered before BUT how do you guys deactivate the 2-step in high gear? I have a Turbo Action shifter rev pat. Thanks! :)

Re: deactivate a 2-step?
I use a micro switch from Radio Shack mounted to the shifter, when the lever is moved to high gear it opens the two step circuit so it doesn't kill the engine when your scrubbing of that critical .002 at the stripe.....

Re: deactivate a 2-step?
Use a window switch that lets the 2 step operate between two assigned rpm ranges. Works great. Then in high gear above let's say 3500, it don't work.

Re: deactivate a 2-step?
How about a switch that only lets the power to the two-step in low gear?

Re: deactivate a 2-step?
i may be reading the wrong thing here, but my two step is activated off a starter push style button on the brake pedal not off the brake light switch. i have mounted it in a location on the brake pedal that is comfortable, but off to one side, that way when i hit the brake pedal my foot is just to the left of the switch and the two step is not activated.

Re: deactivate a 2-step?
Mine is set up the same as Ian's. Button is way to the left on the pedal. Mostly works except when I forget and don't keep my foot off the button on the top end. My car was originally a stick so my brake pedal is pretty narrow. An automatic pedal would have more room.
