The great part of these events, is that you know you are with good people. This was also reflected by some track workers, who were impressed by the politeness and demeanor of the participants. The event had 4 time shots, shootouts and elims with no oildowns or delays. Great job by everyone.
The real story of the weekend is the SG winner, Joe Bouman. This guy shows up having never run a stop and takes the Wally. I asked him who built the car, he states he did, I ask who built the engine, once again he did it himself. Yes Colorful it's a 406 small block. Check out who he had to go through to win. A great win by Joe! http://farm1.static.flickr.com/60/17...ecb2657c36.jpg |
Great jog Steve, congrats. You had many of your opponents cabookied out in the staging lanes because of the low MPH. What car did the super gas guy have? Congrats to him also. I agree about the weekend, I had a great time, the facilaty and track was in great shape, I did see a couple of rigid dragsters do some top end bouncing though.
Anyway,congrats again. Tony HAll & family |
Great Job Steve, You Had My Number Twice And You Handed To Me. I Again Thought The Track Was In Good Shape. Yes And I Was One Of Those Guys Trying To Figure Out How You Did It. Oh Well I'll First Have To Get A Better Light. Again Great Job. Jeff D.

WOW! Jeff D posted? Jeff, those were pretty much like my lights all weekend. My transbrake wire broke off in the lanes as they pulled us out and I jammed it back up, needless to say, it had me freaked out.
