Will I see any gain with a stock cowl induction
air cleaner and hood set up on my 1969 Camaro E/SA 396?

In my opinion you will see improvement. Your getting cooler cleaner air. If you leave off idle, when you start getting into fall and nights get cool you may want to take off the top flange to allow for some warmer air. But we seen improvements.
