Re: Hoosier Radial tires

It is my understanding from the Hoosier guy on the East Coast that the light wt radial is a couple hundreds 02-03 faster than the regular radial but does not last as long. I never back to back them but run the light wt radial. So far I have 55 runs on them. 49 last year with a big block and 6 this year with a small block. Hope this is helpful.

I would get around 150 passes on the liteweight then sell them to the TNT crowd.
Good tire.

Where did you get those (12809-12810) part #'s? I can't find that as a Hoosier #

I have run both the 18212 (CO6) lt. wt. tire and the 18211 (CO7) tire. my 60' was the same with both, and the CO7
gives me an average of 35-40 more passes. So you know what tire I have settled on.

Re: Hoosier Radial tires

Sorry my bad typing 18209 and 18210 were the tires I was asking about. I got a set on thursday tested the car on Friday. The car is new only four on some old 18210 some tire spin on a bald track. Three more runs with 18209 on friday no spin better 60' on still a bald track. How many runs have people been getting on the radials?

18211's here, usually 100 passes up to 120 passes on them, hand them down to lower powered cars and they run em to the cords.
