refresh motor opinion
 

looking for opinions I put my motor away ten years motor was new 25 passes back off valve springs and shot oil into cylinders and put in a bag what parts do you think I should replace besides general freshen up motor has alum. con. rods let me know if you need more info . thanks

dissasemble,,,check valve springs,,,take a look at the rings dont know after ten tears of sitting the tension may not be there ,bearings,if all looks good,do a couple of passes with the ball hone run to reseat the rings clean the block,,check the valve guides and replace the valve seals,,,,aluminun connecting rods should be checked at the machine shop(with 25 pases they should be ok but play it safe)

if its roller cam check the the lifters ,,being ten years back quality mite not be there
