5.0 ford pcv question
keep sucking oil up through the pcv valve on my l/sa car. using a stock pcv valve. is there a better option? thanks bob.

stock location. back of the intake manifold. there is a mesh filter that goes underneath thr valve to keep the oil out of the valve.

try moving the pcv valve to the front of the valve cover (left front or right front ),,,the oil might be collecting in the back of the intake valley causing the oil to get sucked out,,,had that problem when i didnt run the valley pan gmonde

On the bottom of the intake there should be a sheetmetal cover that covers the mesh screen if it is not there it might cause this. It is held on by some pound in twist style rivets, I drilled mine out and tapped for 1/4 bolts.

sheet metal baffle is in place under the intake. will try moving the valve. it starts sucking oil even at idle after about 5 minutes of run time.
