Testing an MSD 7AL2 Box?
 

I'm looking at picking up a second MSD Gold 7AL2 ignition box, but want to know how I can quickly check out the box to determine if it's working fine. Any suggestions and does anyone have an extra one that they want to sell?

Manny I know the boxes can be bench tested however it would require some set up and an MSD tester. Personally I've never heard of an 7al2 box that failed. I'm sure there probably has been but in 25 years of racing I've never personally heard of it. Maybe look on Racingjunk or some other site. Joe

I've got a 7AL-2 for $175.00 and a 7AL-3 for $225.00. The -3 has the retard hard wired to defeat.
