Re: fuel Injected stockers
I ran a LT-1 engined Stocker and had the Accel Gen VII unit. To me they are all very similar units that you just have to learn to work with for tuning. I also bought a stand alone datalogger from Accel but didn't have much success using that. I used an Innovate LM-1 with an rpm converter and that helped me get as far as I did. I think Holley was the most popular unit for a long time as many guys had them. The Accel unit has a lot of stuff in it you'll never use on a racecar. It can control everything a street car would need. I looked at some of the other units especially the Fast and the Big Stuff. I would have preferred having a Holley with a fuel map already baselined for me as I started with nothing and struggled for a while to get something decent in there. The car I raced, I sold. It still has the Accel Gen VII in it and has run 1 second under with a home built engine and tune-up.
