327 sbc question
Is a small journal 327 sbc dated from 1967 ok to build for a race engine?I have one in my garage.Or should i get a large journal 350 block and go that route? Also how do you get that baffle out that is in the lifter valley?thanks alot Gene.

Re: 327 sbc question
the engine displacement depends on what class you plan to run. remove the 1/4" bolt holding the breather in place, tap the unit out with a flat driver.

Re: 327 sbc question
It will work but if cubic inches don't matter& on budget build 350most available parts cheapest.Sell 327 to someone wanting that date.

Re: 327 sbc question
If buying Dart go with biggest cubic inches won't cost anymore crank/piston cost same.
